Tour Overview

MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Embark on an unforgettable adventure in Kenya's premier wildlife sanctuary. A visit to the Masai Mara guarantees breathtaking scenery and world-class game viewing, including the legendary Great Wildebeest Migration—one of the world's most spectacular natural phenomena. Home to thriving populations of the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo), the reserve is also filled with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and diverse antelope species. With its sweeping plains, vibrant cultural encounters, and ideal year-round safari conditions, the Mara offers an immersive raw wilderness experience you will never forget.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Famous for the vast flocks of vibrant pink flamingos that gather along its shallow shores, Lake Nakuru National Park offers a striking visual contrast against the surrounding Great Rift Valley landscape. Beyond its birdlife, this sanctuary plays a vital role in wildlife conservation and is home to both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and Rothschild’s giraffes. Thanks to the park's compact layout, travelers enjoy rich, concentrated game-viewing opportunities in a single action-packed drive.

LAKE NAIVASHA & CRESCENT ISLAND
Located northwest of Nairobi in the heart of the Great Rift Valley, freshwater Lake Naivasha offers a refreshing change of pace. Framed by umbrella acacia trees and overlooked by Mount Longonot, the lake serves as a scenic midpoint to break up the drive from the Mara. A highlight of the stop is a boat ride to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary—a tranquil, unfenced haven where you can enjoy guided walking safaris right alongside free-roaming giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.

Tour Schedule/Itinerary

Day 1 : Nairobi to Masai Mara

Pick up from your hotel/airport at 7:30 am and head straight to the Mara. You will be met by a representative from the office, who will give you a briefing on your safari. Immediately after the briefing you will embark on your safari to Masai Mara National Reserve which is a 6 hour drive from Nairobi. On your way from Nairobi you will enjoy the scenic biews of the Nairobi surburbs, beautiful savannah grasslands and the plains of the great rift valley. You will make a short stop at the Great Rift Valley for a bathroom break and photography. Your expected time of arrival should be in time for lunch. After a warm meal, refreshment and slight relaxation, you will go out for the first game drive of the day. Masai Mara is well known for it’s vast wildlife range including elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos and many more. After the evening game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge for overnight stay.

(Accomodation is dependent on your prefered package. We are however happy to recommend top notch lodges/camps upon inquiry)

Day 2 : Full Day Masai Mara

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will leave the camp with packed lunch i.e food in take away boxes. This is because you will spend the whole day in the park in search of animals like lions, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Depending on your time of visit (July-September) you should witness the Great Wildebeest Migration which is a natural movement of over 3 million grazers from Tanzanias Serengeti National Park to the Masai Mara through the Mara river. This is also the sole reason why most tourists prefer visiting through this time of the year.

Optional side note: We have the cultural visit which is a visit to the Masai community within the park, this visit includes interaction with the local community, learning about the Masai culture, customs, norms and also get to experience their cultural dance. Also note that is done at an extra fee.

After an amazing full day game drive, head back to your camp/lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3 : Masai Mara to Nakuru

Early in the morning after breakfast, check out of your Mara accommodation and head to Nakuru. This is a 5 hour hour drive and your estimated time of arrival in Nakuru should be in time for lunch. Check in at your lodge and after a warm meal head out for an evening game drive. Lake Nakuru national park is known for it’s huge numbers of flamingoes, pelicans rhinos, zebras buffaloes and many more. After the game drive head back to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

After breakfast, have a game drive enroute as you exit the park. You will have one stop for lunch before your drop off in Nairobi hotel or airport.

Important to note: Kindly note that Lake Nakuru National Park is a single entry meaning that when you exit the park, you can only re-enter by paying park fees. The last game drive is only for those staying in accommodations inside the park.
